I came across something very disturbing in the woods. I was wondering if anyone could identify what made these marks on this tree. I don't know that a dog could have clawed it up this bad. Maybe something was tied to it to strip it? Is this man made?

so now that it is April 2nd what do you think did it, are you certain that a beaver did it????? What about a muskrat? did you see any sign of a dam anywhere?

ReplyDeleteTruth be told, as a kid, I chewed on wood...doors, cabinets, furniture. I'm beginning to understand why I think the way I do. Maybe that was some of my handiwork in the woods.
